Here is a little bit about Rev. Becky Dobitsch:
While born in Kansas, Pastor Becky was raised in eastern Pennsylvania not far from Philadelphia. She attended Messiah College (now Messiah University) in Grantham, Pennsylvania, as a Biblical Studies major. After two years working as the Director of Children’s and Youth Ministry at a church in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Becky was accepted into the Dual Degree program at Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey. She graduated with both a Masters in Divinity and a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry. Following her seminary graduation, she worked with inner city children and a refugee resettlement program while guest preaching at a variety of churches in eastern Pennsylvania. She is a life-long member of the PCUSA. She married her husband, Chris, then less than nine months later they moved halfway across the country to Broken Bow, Nebraska.
Pastor Becky and Chris are self-proclaimed city kids, but have made strides in learning about and enjoying rural life in Nebraska. She enjoys reading, crocheting, walking/hiking, playing handbells, singing, talking with family on video chat, and spending time with her husband, Chris.
